The fabrics are 100% acrylic solution dyed, to guarantee maximum resistance to sunlight and bad weather conditions.
The colors are bright and cool thanks to the combination of frisè, mouline and double twisted yarn structures.
The whole collection is available in cut-length service with no minimum purchase and fast delivery. At MOOD Brussels exhibition, the DEHORS collection won the BLUE DROP AWARD, as best Outdoor Product of the year.
Every evening, when the curtain goes up, shortly after darkness falls, twinkling stars brighten the sky as the show that has filled the human race with wonder for millions of years begins.
Tonight, from the masterful interweaving of threads and wefts, a new star is born: ÉTOILE, a collection of fabrics woven with lamé filaments, rich in mystery, animated by millions of tiny shiny points, giving off bright lights. The dark backgrounds, sparkle with metallic vibrations, inlaid with gold and silver, but with bright tones of emerald, cobalt, amethyst and amber too, blending into a burst of multi-colours. The thin metallic yarns create clear geometric patterns on the surface of the fabric, faint flowing strokes or cloudy abstract effects with luminous concentrations wrap into a soft naturalness; the sense of richness, not flamboyant, but pure simple elegance.
A collection inspired by the stars.
Torri Lana, in an eclectic and evolved way, continues a 100-year-old tradition, specializing in wool processing, from yarn to finished fabric, all within the same mill.
Pure new wool, worsted, smooth or curly bouclé nuanced in weaved material and process techniques that evoke first Industrial Revolution textile art. Fashion suppleness, with soft and elegant cloth-like drapes. Bespoke tailoring, with fish bone designs in various sizes, tweed and micro-operated or geometric jacquard.
The '20s were years of unconventionality and renewal: Art, fashion, social and technological innovation such as automobile, household appliances, telephone and radio made life easier and more enjoyable, strengthening trust in a better future.
One hundred years later, Torri Lana takes the path of this revolution, transferring to upholstery fabrics a great energy addressed to every aspect of interior decoration. Originality, elegance, brightness and refinement are the key words of the new “ROARING TWENTIES COLLECTION”.
DECO’: small and large patterns designed in modernist geometry, rational and unusual yarn and color combinations.
JAZZ: Sober lines such as pinstriped mannish, plays as feminine and emancipated in light pastel and natural colors.
CHARLESTON: wool and cotton fibers dancing in an intersection of weft and warp threads with a swaying draping special finishing.
CHANEL: creations of modern structures made by many fancy yarns, mixed in bouclé, chenille, printed, shiny and metallic effects.
Torri Lana presents an eclectic collection of fabrics which play with numerous Jacquard weaves, in yarns and colours that bring back to life patterns from the past, precious memories of artistic trends and design.
Every single yarn that makes up the fabric is moved automatically by electronic commands, leaving room to graphics: intense colours, nuances, shades and embossings are instruments that a designer uses to compose micro and macro patterns or modern tapestry in full length.
The use of geometric language predominates: triangles, circles and hexagons recur forming various shapes and positions in such a way to lighten the monotonous repetition of the pattern, creating fun and mysterious compositions at times.
Pure figures of big contrasts in black and white are softened with abstract subjects and spots of futuristic inspiration.
Each pattern is matched to a textured plain fabric in bright colours; the structures are produced by the use of natural materials like cotton, linen, wool and even cashmere.
Bouclé type effect, mouliné and tweed guide your glance along a creative path, exhibited as if in an art gallery, in a space of contemporary living.
